Recipe: Cinnamon Rolls

These are one of my favorite treats... hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

And finally, the finished roll. Oh yum... can't wait until next time I bake them!

Cinnamon Rolls
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon yeast
1 cup room tempurature water
1 cup boiling water
2 eggs
1 cup corn meal
5 cups flour
Brown sugar
Cinnamon

Place butter and salt in boiling water; let stand until lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in room temperature water. Beat eggs and sugar and add yeast mixture and butter mixture. Work in corn meal and flour. Let rise until double in size. Roll out whole batch, about 1/2 inch thick. Spread with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up; cut into 1 inch slices and place in greased pan. Let rise and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Frost when still warm.
