Recipe: Ice Cream Cake

This is about as simple as a recipe can get... but oh my it is delicious!






Home Made Ice Cream Cake
1.5 quart of your favorite ice cream flavor
1 8 ounce tub Cool Whip
Cookie crumbs of your choice (Oreos and Chocolate Chip work good)

Crush cookies and cover bottom of 9x13 pan with them. Let ice cream and coolwhip thaw until easily stirable. Mix together. Spread over cookie layer, and sprinkle top with crushed cookies. Freeze until solid. Freeze leftovers.

Makes 12-16 servings.


You can't buy happiness but you can buy ice cream and that's kind of the same thing.
